Benue state Umiversity, Makurdi, BSU orientation programme date and procedure for collection of academic gowns for the matriculation and matriculation ceremony date, venue and time for the 2018/2019 academic session.Below is how to collect the gown.
The school management of the Benue State University, has decided to inform newly admitted students of the University and the general public that the 2018/2019 Matriculation Ceremony will come up on Thursday, 22nd August, 2019.
The ceremony will be headed for a two days Orientation for fresh admitted students on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st August, 2019 at the Old Convocation Square, Main Campus. BSU Matriculation/ Orientation Ceremony
All the time for the programs scheduled dates is 9:00 am daily.
All fresh students into undergraduate programmes for the 2018/2019 Academic Session are advice to complete all registration processes on or before Wednesday, 21st August, 2019. BSU Matriculation/ Orientation Ceremony
They are also to contact their Faculty Officers who will issue them with Academic gowns for the Matriculation Ceremony after payment of the sum of One Thousand (N1,000.00) Naira only using either Fidelity or Zenith Account Numbers 5030023693 and 1011136506 respectively. Academic gowns are to be returned to the Faculty Officers on or before 30th August, 2019 as late return of gowns will attract a fine of one hundred Naira (N100.00) per day.
There is lecture free days for the new students because of their Orientation and Matriculation ceremony. The reason is to allow them participate fully in these events for their own good while in the University. BSU Matriculation/ Orientation Ceremony
Take Note:
- Candidates who refuses to register as specified by the school management will not be allowed to matriculate and shall be deemed to have forfeited their admission.
- matriculation and Orientation Ceremonies are mandatory for all fresh undergraduates of the University.
