This is to inform all the students that wrote the examination that JAMB has announced the outcomes of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The Board reported that 1,595,779 candidates enrolled for the exam, which was held at 708 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across 105 examination cities nationwide.
with the above information, all Candidates can now their UTME results for 2023 and previous years either online or via SMS. Kindly get a device with an internet connection to check your results Online. Alternatively, the SMS method may be more suitable for candidates without internet access or those in areas with limited network coverage. However, keep in mind that network operators may charge a fee for this service
Check JAMB 2023 Result with Only Registration Number
1. Go to the Jamb Result Checker page https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckUTMEResults
2. Enter your Jamb Registration Number or Email Address and
3. Click on the “Check My Result” button. Your total aggregate score will be displayed on your PC/Mobile phone.
Note: If your result is available, the portal will return your JAMB Notification of Result. Then you can go ahead to print your result

Update: Check the 2023 UTME Result via SMS
Use the steps below;
a. Get a phone with the number you used to register.
b. Open the text message and send an “SMS” with the word “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same number used for registration (you must have a credit balance of at least N50 on your line). The result would be replied to you as an SMS shortly after.
c. You will get a response with your 2023 JAMB Results.
Note: To get a faster result, kindly send the message by 9 pm when the server is not congested.
The following are the responses to expect if you check your result via SMS:
a. If the phone number used during registration is not the same one used for the SMS, This Message will appear ‘This phone number was not used for registration.”
b. If Your result is available you will get this message: “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows… (and the details will be provided).
c. If withheld, a “Result Withheld” message will be sent to the candidate.
d If a candidate belongs to the category being given the benefit of the doubt, the message to the person will be: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.”
e. If a candidate was absent, s/he would get “CANDIDATE ABSENT” as feedback
f. A candidate that was ABSENT WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER also CANCELLED will be so informed.
g. “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall” will be sent to a candidate who gained unauthorized access to the examination hall.
How To Check JAMB Result 2023 With Email Address:
Go to JAMB Result Checker with the email address portal via https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility_/CheckUTMEResults.
provide your email address in the required column.
Click on ‘Check My Results’.
The portal will load your result if it’s ready.
