The Federal Government has set up an agreed Fee For Post-UTME Registration which all Tertiary Institution In Nigeria Should Comply With.
In the JAMB Policy Meeting 2018 that was held The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, stated the amount institutions are to charge candidates for post-UTME Registration fee. the fee was fixed at Two Thousand Naira Only (N2,000)
Mr Adamu said that after JAMB fixed the maximum amount to be charged for Post-UTME Registration most institution charge above the amount fixed by JAMB. And due to the disobedient of some institution last year, Mr Adamu Said They will monitor institutions and make sure that this fixed amount is Implemented.
Finally at the meeting the minister of Education made it clear that any institution that refuse to adhere to this and is found guilty of misonduct shall be penalized accordingly as he said some heads of tertiary institutions in Nigeria lack integrity in carrying out their jobs and need to be dealt with.
My Take: The Fee Is Pretty Much Ok, Institutions should Adhere to it or Face The Wrath.
