The list of candidates that are exempted from participating in the 2018 Post- UTME Screening Exercise includes: Foreigners, Prisoners, Deaf And Blind,
According to the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, the list of candidates that are exempted was approved during the 2018 Policy Meeting that was held on 26th June 2018. Also he said the list of candidates would be treated by the institution under affirmative and inclusive actions for their accommodation
Further More, He stated that the Board has device a means whereby candidates will not take undue advantage of the exemption, Therefore stating that only candidates who are either foreigners, or Nigerians, who are confirmed residents in foreign countries, and are products of foreign school system can enjoy this privilege in the interest of internationalization of the nation’s tertiary institutions.
Finally He said “A Nigerian with less than six months stay in a foreign country is disallowed from taking his/her UTME in any foreign country.”
