LATEST JAMB UPDATE: The management held a meeting on Tuesday, 20th December 2022, and at the end the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) released important dates for its activities in 2023.
Therefore, the Board has approved the registration period for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to be held from Saturday, January 14, to Tuesday, February 14, 2023. This does not, however, include registration for Direct Entry (DE) application documents, as DE registration would begin on Monday, February 20 and end on Thursday, April 20, 2022.
The Board also set Thursday, March 16, 2023, as the date for its optional mock UTME.
Candidates are advised that they will be required to pay a service fee of N1,000 to CBT centres for the conduct of mock examinations at the time of registration. This is to prevent a situation in which candidates indicate an interest in sitting the mock UTME, causing the various centres to commit human and material resources, only to have the candidates fail to appear on the day of the examination. With the new structure, candidates signal their interest by paying for the mock exam at the time of UTME registration, preventing centres from suffering losses regardless of whether candidates attend.
The Board advises all candidates interested in registering for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to immediately begin creating their respective profiles (creation of profile code) prior to the formal commencement of the registration exercise. This is to ensure that they do not become caught up in any subsequent bottlenecks.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the Registration of the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) form will be on sale across 700 centres nationwide and will commence on Saturday,February 19th, 2022 to Saturday, March 26th, 2022. According to the board, there will be no extension of time for the sale of the UTME/DE application form, PIN vending also ends on Saturday, March 26th, 2022.
JAMB 2022/2023 Registration Form And Exam Date
The time of sale/registration for all candidates (UTME/DE) including those from Foreign Countries will be Saturday, February 19th, 2022 to Saturday, March 26th, 2022, while the exam will take place from Saturday, May 6th and end on Sunday, May 15th, 2022. “For any person to be registered for UTME/DE, he/she must supply his/her National Identity Number (NIN),” JAMB says.

The cost of registration has been retained at N3,500 and an additional N500 for the mandatory purchase of reading texts for the candidates, Service charge for registration N700, Making it a total sum of Four Thousand Seven hundred Naira only, (N4,700)

Also, candidates are hereby informed that Optional Mock will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, for those who indicate interest and registered early enough, and For any person to be registered for UTME/DE, he/she must supply his/her National Identity Number (NIN).
