Kano University Of Science and Technology Set To Resume Full Academic Activities After The Shut Down On May 3rd 2018
The Management by this notice wish to inform the Students of the Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST), Wudil, Kano State, that the Resumption of Academic activities is on Monday, 9th July 2018, by this notice the school management expects all students to resume Activities.
⇒According to what led to the break/shut down of institution, was the death of a student which led to protest on 3rd May 2018.
Key Notes:
The Senate of the University at its 84th meeting held on Friday 22nd, June 2018 approved the reopening of the University on Monday 9th July 2018.
Also the Senate Agreed that all students are to be in school because From Monday, 9th July to Friday, 20th July 2018 will be the period for payment of penalty and Medical Screening charges (N13,000 and N4,000 Respectively).
On Monday 23rd July to Friday 3rd August 2018 will be the period of screening of all students at their various Faculties and Departments.
Finally Sunday 5th August 2018 is the reporting date of all students to their hostels While On Monday 6th August 2018 will be the date for the commencement of lectures.
