Lagos State University Foundation Programme Sets To Commence In August 2018, Therefore All Interested Candidates Can Now Apply For The LASU JUPEB Admission.

The Management of Lagos State University invites suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Lagos State University Foundation Programme, the programme is designed to run for Twelve (12) Months, Which will commence by August 2018 and end July 2019.

ABOUT LASU FOUNDATION PROGRAMME: The location for this programme is Lagos State University Foundation Programme Campus, ASCON Road, Topo, Badagry.
The Programme has been designed to enable successful candidates to obtain the award of Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) Certificate, Now by this certificate, the candidate stand a chance to secure Direct Entry admission into 200 level Degree Programme offered by JUPEB Affiliated universities.

Eligibility For Admission:

1. Candidates must possess Five (5) Ordinary Level Credit Passes in relevant subjects, including English Language. and For candidates who intend to study courses in Medicine/Dentistry/Nursing/Agric Science, Science Education, Social Sciences, Management Sciences and Engineering, Credit Pass in Mathematics is mandatory.

2. All candidates that are eligible for admission will be ask to come for written qualifying examination.

3. Once the candidates pass the examination, they will pay a non-refundable fee of Twenty Five Thousand Naira Only (N25,000.00) For The Programme.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

i. The Deadline for Application is on Friday, 24th August, 2018.

ii. The Written Qualifying Examination Schedule:
Date: Saturday, 25th August, 2018,
Venue: LASU Foundation Programme Location, Topo Road, Badagry, Lagos State.

iii. Candidates are hereby informed that on Monday, 3rd September, 2018, the lectures will commence fully

iv. The Programme is non-residential. Candidates offered admission into the Programme will have syndicated rental of hostel accommodation together with transportation.

v. Once a student is admitted, if the student wish to withdraw from the programme, such student is expected to do so before the end of First Term calendar year, and get a refund for school fees, once that period elapse the student’s request will not be accepted

vi. And finally all candidates should be informed that at the end of the intensive Programme, successful Candidates shall have Courses allocated to them on merit

What Is Needed To Upgrade You To 200 Level:

1. The course that will be allocated to students will be based on the level of the student’s performance.

2. At the end of the course Students will sit for JUPEB examination that will promote them to 200 Level in any of the JUPEB Affiliated Universities.

3. Also note that Successful candidates that will be enrolled in the degree programmes at the 200 level must purchase the Direct entry admission form.

4. Those who did not pass the qualifying exam may be given a second chance to repeat the programme.
