Maritime University Begins Degree Programmes – Approved By NUC
The Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State has received approval to offer degree programmes by the National Universities Commission, NUC

All interested candidates should take note that the Maritime university wishes to commence the undergraduate Degree Programme from this year, 2017/2018 Academic session
Also the academic activities are expected to commence in three faculties of the institution and each Faculty has its departments:
- Transport
- Engineering
- Environmental Management.
The Faculty of Transport has four departments that include

Faculty of Engineering has five departments:
- Marine Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Petroleum and Gas Engineering
Faculty of Environmental Management has four departments:
- Environmental Management and Pollution
- Meteorology
- Climate Change
- Fisheries
- Aquaculture
- Marine Geology
