I. BASIC GENERAL NURSING
Basic General Nursing is a three-year programme, that will be commencing in October, 2018.
Application Requirements
Candidates must possess: WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. He or she should be at least Seventeen (17) years old on admission.
How To Apply
Candidates can purchase their Application forms from the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Schools of Nursing, Ife Hospital Unit and Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa at a cost of Six Thousand Naira only (N6,000).
PAYABLE VIA REMITA AT SKYE BANK BRANCHES IN OAUTHC, ILE- IFE AND WGH, ILESA.
Passport Photograph: Two (2) recent identical passport photographs should be attached to the application form.
Closing Date: Completed application form should be returned to the office of the Principal, Schools of Nursing, IHU, Ile – Ife and WGH, Ilesa respectively on or before 9th July, 2018.
Date of Entrance Examination: Entrance examination shall be conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Nursing and Midwifery Central Selection Committee on 14th July, 2018.
II. POST BASIC GENERAL NURSING
Post Basic General Nursing is an eighteen-month programme that is set to commence in April, 2019.
Application Requirements
Candidates must possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with 5 credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
be a registered Midwife or Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
have at least one year post registration working experience after the one year Mandatory Community Service (Midwives only).
How To Apply
Candidates should purchase their Application forms from the office of the Head of Department (Nursing Education) OAUTHC, Ile – Ife on payment of Seven Thousand Five Hundred Naira Only (N7,500).

Two recent identical passport photographs should be attached to the application form.
Application Deadline:
Completed application forms should be returned to the office where the form was obtained on or before 17th July, 2018.
Entrance Examination:
Written Test and Oral Interview: 23rd – 25th July, 2018
III. PERI-OPERATIVE NURSING
Peri-operative Nursing is a twelve-month programme that is set to commence in November 2018.
Application Requirements:
Candidates must possess, WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, and at least one Science subject i.e. Physics, Chemistry or Biology for candidates who finished General Nursing before year 2006.
possess credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for candidates who finished General Nursing from year 2006.
be a registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
have at least one year post qualification experience.

IV. POST BASIC MIDWIFERY
Post Basic Midwifery is an eighteen-month programme that will commence in September, 2018.

Candidates must possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
