UNIPORT Schedule 38th Matriculation Ceremony-2017/2018

The University of Port harcourt has schedule the 38th Matriculation ceremony for the institution, this to inform all the Newly admitted student of UNIPORT that the Matriculation ceremony has been scheduled to hold on Thursday, 29th March 2018, More details below

TIME:       9.00A.M

VENUE:    Convocation Arena, University park

Also Note that there will be Academic procession by Members of Senate, by that all Matriculating student are expected to be seated at 8:30am prompt

All matriculating student are expected to print out the copy of the Matriculation Pledge online, which they will sign after taking the Oath at the Convocation Arena and return same to the College Secretary/ Faculty Officer after the Ceremony.

NOTICE TO PART-TIME STUDENTS

All part- time student are to Contact the College Secretary, CCE for the collection and return of their academic outfit.

NOTICE TO FULL TIME STUDENT

  • All full time students are to proceed to the College/Faculty/School with the receipt of payment of school charges to collect the academic outfit from the College Secretary/ Faculty Officer. From Monday, 26th March, 2018) Please note that you are to pay a fee of One Thousand Naira (N1,000) and you are to pay it at the College/Faculty/ School Finance Office, on return of the outfit in good condition. Note also that no money will be paid at the college/Faculty/School for any other service or document
  • All the student should return the academic gown after the Matriculation Ceremony and complete the necessary Forms for the refund of the sum of One Thousand naira (N1,000) This should be done not later than Friday, 6th April, 2018.

Finally all matriculating students are expected to be very orderly. Snapping of Photograph should not take place inside the Arena.
